Sam and Natasha looked great for their wedding and picked some really neat spots for each part of it. Since I was shooting along with Mel of Other than Roses, I shot the guys and she shot the girls. The guys were staying at the Aloft Hotel, which turned out to be a great place to shoot group shots as you’ll see. The ceremony at the Botanical Gardens was by the lake and the reception at the Auld House.

The guys really knew how to work the camera. And check out that bar!!!

On a final note, any recent visitors confused about an Austin wedding photographer only posting work from San Antonio, don’t worry. This is the result of recently moving and doing all the weddings booked a long time ago. There will be plenty of Austin related wedding and portrait photography to show in the coming months, I promise.

We had a blast despite the early arrival of summer and did some really neat work. Jessica looked stunning and was a real trooper for going the extra mile for some of the poses. She brought along her mom and sister, and we all had some fun goofing off and making some neat images.

If you haven’t seen the botanical gardens, please do so. It is a great place to hang out, take a date, propose, get married, and get your picture taken.
