Tokyo, Japan :: Travel Photography

My wife and I just recently took a trip to Tokyo to visit a friend and soak in some Asian culture. Being foodies, we had a blast just trying out what the country had to offer the taste buds. We saw a handful of shrines, the big areas in Tokyo, lots of suits, and umbrellas. I would show you more from the trip, but there was sooooo much to see and photograph that I would most likely overdo it.

Tokyo is an amazing place with an amazing culture. It was very different from any other travel experience I have had and I cannot wait to return.

July 29, 2009 - 1:17 pm YoYo - Awesome pics from Japan, the one of the tree looking up is just an absolutely amazing shot.

August 3, 2009 - 12:41 am Eric - Thanks Collin! We are planning on getting the tree shot printed on canvas as a triptych with all three panels measuring about 40 x 60 inches. It's gonna really tie the living room together.

August 4, 2009 - 5:02 pm YoYo - will that slice the picture horizontal, or vertical? are you going to hinge yours?

August 4, 2009 - 5:21 pm Eric - Vertical. No hinges, just three separate gallery wraps hung a few inches apart.

August 6, 2009 - 4:07 am Melinda Ledsome - Love these shots and am so jealous of your travels!!! lol I do like that tree photo... Did my travling companion that went went you capture that one? >;o)

August 6, 2009 - 6:01 am Eric - I think it did. It was missed in White Sands.

August 6, 2009 - 3:21 pm Melinda Ledsome - It would have loved to have made the trip.. it has been lonely just sitting in the bag cause Uncle Eric hasn't taken it on vacation in a while! lol
